Friendship Baptist Church – Gathering together again!
As we prepare to enter Phase 2 of the governor’s plan for reopening the state of NC, FBC staff have been prayerfully considering the implementation of a path forward. With information made available in recent days, we are able to unveil a path for gathering together again. Please remember that ultimately your decision to attend church in person is between you and God. Please use discretion and “be fully persuaded in your own mind” Romans 14:5.
Phase 2 has placed certain requirements that must be adhered to for us to begin meeting together again indoors. We will need your help to make this successful. We ask that if you are comfortable, and would like to participate in a church service onsite, that you respectfully abide by these guidelines.
As you consider joining in worship onsite this Sunday, please carefully read the information found in this document.
Because we will have limited seating (about 150-175), we ask that you please sign up by midnight on Friday for this week’s Sunday morning service at 11:00 AM, so we can fit as many people in the auditorium as possible while social distancing.
If you are planning to join us, please click here.
Livestream Services will continue throughout Phase 2:
- Sundays at 11:00 AM
- Sundays at 6:30 PM
- Wednesdays at 7:00 PM
View the livestream on the Friendship Baptist Church YouTube channel!
View FBC en Español on the Friendship Baptist Church en Español YouTube channel or Facebook page Sundays at 11:00 AM.
Extra Teaching Resources
- “Change and Grow”
- “You’ve been changed…but you are to be changing and growing until you see Jesus.” We hope this series, taught by Pastor DeAngelo, will be a help and encouragement to you. You can find each video of this series on our YouTube channel as it is released.
Friendship Kids Resources
Each week we will be releasing new videos that include a song, the weekly lesson, Bible trivia, and more! You can find the videos for the week on FBC’s YouTube page. Feel free to have your kids watch during the regularly-scheduled times or whenever works best for you.
As a supplemental resource, you can print out each lesson’s age-appropriate activity page here relevant to three different groups: 3-4s, K5-3rd, and 4th-5th. The Gospel Project has graciously allowed churches to use these resources in this way during this unprecedented time.
Youth Meeting will be held each Wednesday at 6:45 PM via Zoom. The invitation will be emailed to teens and parents – if anyone is not receiving those emails and would like to receive an invite, email Pastor DeAngelo at email@example.com.
Modified Office Hours
**Please note: The church office hours may vary. You may email the church office (firstname.lastname@example.org) or leave a phone message after our church recording (919-876-0585), and someone will return your call.Watch FBC on YouTube Give Online
