Friendship Baptist Church’s children’s ministry exists to glorify God in the church by providing purposeful, Christ-centered instruction for the formative years of a child’s life. Our mission and passion is for our children to know God, love God, and serve God. We are excited about partnering with you as parents in sharing Jesus with the next generation!

In addition to teaching God’s Word, one of our top priorities is your child’s safety. Each children’s ministry worker is child-safety approved as they have been safety-trained and have passed a detailed background check prior to being entrusted with the care of your children. Our workers look forward to providing a safe and caring environment for your child!

Infants & Toddlers (Ages 0-2)

Our infant and toddler nurseries exist to serve our body by introducing little ones to Jesus at the earliest age possible. We work hard to maintain a clean, safe, and fun environment for your children, and we recognize that our goals are much bigger than mere babysitting or daycare. Our children receive gentle care and a foundation of truth as our workers introduce them to Christ in various ways. The infant nursery is for newborns through confident walkers. Our toddler nursery is for early walkers through 2 year olds.

Friendship Kids (Ages 3 - 5th Grade)

Our desire is to see the “next generation” of children experience Christ-centered transformation in their lives through the power of the gospel. Friendship Kids seeks to demonstrate how individual stories in the Bible fit into the much larger story of Scripture – God’s plan to redeem His people through His Son, Jesus Christ.

During Sunday School, Children’s & Junior Church (ages 3 – 3rd grade), and on Wednesday nights, Friendship Kids follows The Gospel Project for Kids. Beginning in Genesis and ending in Revelation, “The Gospel Project exists to point preschoolers and children to the gospel of Jesus Christ on every page of Scripture.” Each week in age-appropriate classes, children learn through participating in activities, memorizing Scripture, singing songs, and listening to a Bible story. It is our desire for each of these various, yet Biblically-connected classes to stir our affections for Jesus Christ.

About Friendship Baptist Church

Our purpose is to make much of our Lord Jesus Christ and His gospel through the preaching of His Word and the making of disciples. At Friendship Baptist Church (FBC) we teach the Bible in order to facilitate spiritual growth in all of God’s people and to provide opportunities for Christian fellowship. God has graciously used Friendship to further His work both locally and across the globe since 1965.
