Missions Conference Preview
Missions Conference is one of the highlights of the year at Friendship Baptist Church, and it is quickly approaching! Missions Conference will be slightly different this year. You will find several ways to participate listed below:
Pray
- That the Lord will be glorified through the week of the conference and that it will be a time of blessing to the missionaries.
- For the missionaries and the conference workers.
- That the Lord will call others out of Friendship to go to the mission field.
Attend Every Service
Join us Wednesday, Thursday, and all day Sunday. Get to know our guests over a casual dinner with your ABF! Bring your children to participate in the Children’s Conference. Nursery will be provided for all services.
- March 14-15 @ 7 PM (3yrs – 4th grade will begin in the service, then be dismissed to children’s conference.)
- March 17 – ABF hosted dinner with a missionary
- March 18 @ 9:45 AM, 11:00 AM & 6:30 PM (3yrs – 2nd grade will meet in the MPR. Third grade and older will attend combined Sunday School. Junior Church will meet as regularly scheduled.)
Get to Know Our Missionaries
The better you know our missionaries, the better you can pray for them! In a few weeks, the conference table will be set up in the Welcome Center. At the table, you will find lists of their prayer requests and physical needs.
Dinner with a Missionary
Eat dinner at home or take them out to a restaurant on Thursday or Friday evening. Look for an opportunity to sign up in the Welcome Center. On Saturday, the Adult Bible Fellowships will organize a group event. Check with your ABF for more info.
Men’s Ministry Breakfast
Saturday, March 17 | MPR | 8:30-10:00 am | suggested donation – $5/person
Men of all ages are invited to the MPR to have breakfast with our missionaries. Click here to sign up and pay online or sign up at the Missions Conference table in the Welcome Center.
Missionary Q & A
Sunday, March 18 | 9:45 am
Ladies will meet in the chapel to hear testimonies from our missionaries, and the men will meet in the sanctuary for a Q&A session. Children from 3rd grade and up are welcome to attend and submit questions! Fill out the Q & A cards at the Missions Conference Sign up table, and place in the designated box.
*Children ages 3 years old through 2nd grade will meet with Mr. Greenacre in the MPR.
Missionary Gift Card Shower
Help meet some needs of our guests! Click here to contribute to the gift card shower online, or sign up at the conference table in the Welcome Center. Leave your purchased gift cards in the designated box at the Welcome Center. Please turn all donations in by Sunday, March 11.
Know the Needs of our Missionary Guests
Our missionaries have specific needs and prayer requests. Pick up a copy of the prayer/needs list at the Missions Conference table in the Welcome Center. Perhaps the Lord will use you to meet some of these needs.
Make plans to join us for Missions Conference 2018, “Jesus, the Main Attraction.” You will truly be blessed.
